Wayne Rooney carried Manchester United on his own back at times last season with Robin van Persie out injured for large spells and the likes of Javier Hernandez and Danny Welbeck putting in inconsistent performances. The England star netted 17 Premier League goals in 29 appearances in 2013-14 and was one of only a few stand-out performers. Rooney was United's top goalscorer last season and it makes sense that he would be one of their highest-scoring players in FIFA 15. His rating of 87 in last year's instalment is likely to increase given his goal-scoring heroics but probably only marginally. A score of 88 would seem a sound rating for a player considered to be one of the best strikers in England. Goalscoring aside, Rooney's work-rate is impressive and he gives 100% commitment to the cause. A team player, the ex-Everton man set up 10 goals for his teammates last season and yet another impressive personal campaign must surely yield a slight boost of rating - however glacial. PREDICTED FIFA 15 RATING: 88
