It's the moment Villa fans have been dreading. It looks like Christian Benteke could be on his way out of Villa, with Liverpool looking the most likely to acquire his services. Ever since Suarez departed, the Reds have been in desperate need of further goal-scoring options and Rodgers seems willing to meet Villa's release clause of £32 million. The likes of Borini and Lambert have not really worked out for Rodgers and Benteke, a striker with three years of Premier League experience, could be an impressive acquisition for the Reds. Liverpool have plenty of money now that Sterling has made the move to Manchester but it still seems that some fans are unconvinced by the Belgian international and his release clause fee. For this upcoming season, though, Ings and Origi will be joining the Reds as well as Firmino, who can also play up front. Do they even need Benteke?
