3. One To Watch At The Front
Just like at the back of the grid - it seems inevitable that there will also be a front of the grid as well. While it might be easy to suggest that Vettel/Alonso will be the champion this year I think an ever so slight curve ball is Kimi Raikkonen. The Lotus driver was in blistering form last season and a win in Abu Dhabi has shown just how far the Renault/Lotus team have come since the "crash-gate" scandal involving Nelson Piquet Jr. It could have easily seen Lotus take a higher position in the constructor's championship had Grosjean been more reliable. If the team can extend on the base built by the E20 then surely the E21 should be the one Red Bull has to fear the most, if Red Bull have continued their strong showing under Adrian Newey. Romain also seems to have learnt his lesson from the ban after his first corner catastrophe at Spa so hopefully a strong one-two or even a sturdy rear gunner could see Lotus being a regular podium visitor.
