Frank Lampard's 15 Most Memorable Chelsea Moments

5. Scoring The FA Cup Final Winner

The FA Cup is a competition that Lampard has had much joy in, winning the competition 4 times, but in the 2009 final, against Everton, he made his most important contribution. Louis Saha had got Everton off to a flying start, his goal after 25 seconds was the fastest ever goal in FA Cup Final history and the early goal seemed to stun Chelsea, but they managed an equaliser in the 21st minute, with Didier Drogba again scoring in an FA Cup final. In the second half, Lampard received the ball from Nicholas Anelka, he deceived Phil Neville, who slipped unfortunately and then beat Tim Howard with a shot from 25 yards with his wrong foot in a manner that was more than worthy of winning the Cup. The goal from Lampard took him to 20 in the 08/09 season, a minimum total that he achieved for 5 straight seasons.
