Fulham Next Manager: 5 Replacements For Martin Jol?

2. Alan Curbishley

Curbishley The former Charlton Athletic and West Ham United manager has not worked in management since 2008 but is still quite revered. During his spell at Charlton, where he spent 16 years, he almost guided the club to Champions League qualification in the 2003/04 season, and was at one point tipped to take over as Liverpool manager. A stint at West Ham followed, where he helped them avoid relegation before leading them to a top ten finish in his two years in charge. He hasn't managed since then, meaning Fulham would be free to make an approach for him if they so wished. Considering he helped West Ham avoid the drop before restoring them as a competitive team in the Premier League, there's good reason why the Fulham hierarchy should consider making an approach.
