Fulham Next Manager: 5 Replacements For Martin Jol?

1. Roberto Di Matteo

Roberto-dematteo Roberto Di Matteo's sacking by Chelsea was quite possibly one of the harshest managerial firings of recent years, and one that really made no sense at all. He had just guided the Blues to FA Cup glory and as if that wasn't enough, topped it all off with the most unlikely of Champions League triumphs by seeing off Bayern Munich on penalties after a 120-minute nerve-jangling affair at the Allianz Arena - Bayern's home ground of all places. But Chelsea's sixth placed finish in the Premier League ultimately cost him his job and former Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez was installed as his replacement on an interim basis shortly after. There aren't too many managers with "Champions League Winner" emblazoned on their CV's who are out of work at the moment, save for Pep Guardiola, but I think we can rule him out. By appointing Roberto Di Matteo as their new manager, Fulham would be hiring a winner, someone who has tasted success and knows how to get a job done. That's pretty much precisely what they need right now if they are to stave off relegation. Fulham Fans: Who do you think should replace Martin Jol if he is sacked? Do you think Jol should be sacked?
