Hull Transfer News: Tom Huddlestone & Jake Livermore Join In £5 Million Deal

Team Talk. The 26-year-old is moving to the KC Stadium having failed to establish himself at White Hart Lane, making just 14 Premier League appearances last season - the majority of which came from the bench. Huddlestone, who joined Spurs from Derby County in 2005, made 202 appearances for the Lilywhites over an eight-season spell that saw him score 15 goals across all competitions. The England international has found himself surplus to requirements in North London following the summer arrival of Paulinho from Corinthians. And he is set to be joined at Hull be now-former Tottenham team-mate Jake Livermore, who is on the verge of joining the Tigers on loan, with the move expected to be announced within the next 24 hours. Hull, who have just been promoted back into the Premier League, are paying in the region of £5 million to secure the duo. Both moves are expected to go through later this week with the pair set for medicals before discussing personal terms. Huddlestone and Livermore will become the Tiger's ninth and tenth summer signings following the arrivals of Yannick Sagbo, Danny Graham, Steve Harper, Allan McGregor, Curtis Davies, Ahmed Elmohamady, George Boyd and Maynor Figueroa.
