Nobody bossed the middle of the pitch quite like Patrick Vieira did. The lanky Frenchman was the key man in the heart of the Arsenal midfield for many years and for good reason too. He would do everything and anything needed to make sure his team walked away with three points and his willingness to do so galvanized players around him. There's a term used in American Football called 'putting the team on your back' and Vieira did that so many times during his time at Highbury. A leader from the beginning to end of his time at Arsenal, teams feared the big midfielder because when he was fully fit and at his best he was simply unplayable.
