Jamie Carragher's 10 Greatest Liverpool Moments

5. Scoring The Winning Penalty In The 2001 Worthington Cup Final

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bvzMzw16rp8 Who would have thought it? A young, 21 year old centre back taking a stupidly long run up to slam home a confident penalty to end a trophy drought stretching back to 1995. It was actually a brilliant penalty considering the pressure he was under. Slammed straight into the top corner. The funniest thing is, is that Carra always said he was a top drawer penalty taker - he definitely proved it with this historic penalty which sparked Liverpool's march towards the Cup Treble. He's always volunteered for penalty shoot-out duty since - during the Champions League and FA Cup Finals, as well as the semi-final vs Chelsea in 2007.
