4. FA Cup Semi-Final 2012

carragher This game was by no means an FA Cup classic but it was definitely a hugely important Merseyside Derby with the added twist of Wembley to spice things up. Neither team really got to grips with the game although Liverpool did exert the most pressure. This game was made all the sweeter with Liverpool coming back from 1-0 down to win the game 2-1 right at the death. Carragher was partly at fault for the opening goal but he was still part of the team who put the noisy neighbours back in their place (until they finished above the Reds in May). You can't put a price on beating your bitter rivals in the semis or the final and the fact Carra helped to supply the Reds faithful with this reward is truly awesome. Not only did he book himself yet another final but he also beat his boyhood team to get their - that must have felt so good.
