Ken Bates Wants Lee Clark As Leeds United Manager

Bookies favourite Neil Warnock not expected to be the Chairman's preferred choice.

Despite being among the bookies favourites, former Sheffield United boss Neil Warnock, who lost his job a couple of weeks back at Premier League outfit Queens Park Rangers, is not believed to be Bates' first choice to replace Simon Grayson. Lee Clark is currently manager of nearby West Yorkshire club Huddersfield Town in League One, where he has currently guided them to third position in the table. He has been linked with a number of bigger jobs in recent months, even the Sunderland vacancy when the top job at his former club became available last year but so far he has stuck with The Terriers.
