Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho have proven to be spectacular purchases - but with these two success stories aside - it could be argued that not one of Rodgers' 22 other signings have actually established themselves successfully at the Merseyside club.

Buys such as Mario Balotelli, Dejan Lovren, Rickie Lambert, Victor Moses and Fabio Borini to name just a few, exemplify Rodgers' incompetence in bringing in the calibre of player which is required at Liverpool FC.
