6. Lack Of Strikeforce
When the summer transfer window slammed shut, Liverpool were facing real problems with their strikeforce. The only recognised striker was Luis Suarez due to the
plans to swoop in for Clint Dempsey failed. Fortunately, the club has had luck in its youth helping them through to the current transfer window. In this one, the Reds have signed Daniel Sturridge, who clearly is a very talented player. However, despite Sturridge starting his Liverpool career at a blistering pace, hes still relatively unproven as a consistent striker. If Liverpool really want to win anything they need at least 3 strikers who can score, you would think, before they can win anything. If we take Man Utd, you can see that the bulk of their goals this season have come from Rooney and Van Persie, but they also have Hernandez and Welbeck to come on and do the job if they need them.
