7. Reliance On Youngsters
The team faced a huge dilemma at the end of the summer transfer window; the prospect of not having a full team. Fortunately, players like Raheem Sterling, Suso, and Andre Wisdom stepped up to the plate and have really performed for the club. Liverpool also have youth in the likes of Jonjo Shelvey, and even players who Rodgers has brought in like Joe Allen, Fabio Borini, and Daniel Sturridge are quite young. However, an over-reliance on inexperienced youth is a problem. It leads to inconsistencies in performances which Liverpool have shown this year. It is important to bring in young players for the future but what Liverpool need is a solid team that have Premier League experience if they want to win anything this season.
