Liverpool Transfer News: Tom Ince's Future Still Unclear

The Telegraph reported today the Reds are willing to walk away from the deal as they do not wish to raise their bid to Blackpool's asking price. They also said Brendan Rodgers will look to renew his interest in the attacker in the summer. In contrast, The Daily Mailbelieves Liverpool are close to "finalizing" the deal for £6million after a breakthrough in negotiations. The paper also claims that Swansea inquired about the player but were not happy with the asking price. The winger's father, former England international Paul Ince said that his son should only leave to the Premier League if he is receiving regular first team starts. He told Sky Sports News that it would "Stunt" the players development if he was not starting on a normal basis. Tom Ince moved from Liverpool to Blackpool in 2011 and has scored 19 goals in 57 appearances for the Championship club. Before moving, the winger spent three years playing at Liverpool but never made a first team appearance.
