1. Fernando Llorente
Everyone knows that Liverpool are short up front. With Andy Carroll shipped out to West Ham, Liverpool have only Luis Suarez and Fabio Borini as their recognised strikers. It doesn't help that Borini is currently injured so the need for another option in the striker role is there. Fernando Llorente is someone who is tall and psychical presence but can play at ease with the ball at his feet, this is due to Athletic Bilbao's tried and tested passing style. Last year they had a fantastic season in the Europa League, knocking out Manchester United in the process and Llorente was one of the key players in their impressive season. He may also come on the cheap too because of his contract running out in the summer and recent fall out with Bilbao manager Marcelo Bielsa, Juventus failed to secure him and went for Bendtner instead so Liverpool could bag a real gem in January. He's a player who's style could be compared to Andy Carroll and we all know how that turned out, but he's more skillful and much better on the ball than Carroll and would seem an ideal partner for Luis Suarez should Rodgers want to play with two strikers up front.
