Origi signed for Liverpool for £10m after an impressive 2014 World Cup campaign with Belgium, whereby he was predominantly used as an impact sub for manager Marc Wilmots.

The young Belgian forward scored an 88th minute winner in the second group game against Russia and impressed enough in four substitute appearances to earn a move to Liverpool, where he will return full-time next campaign having spent a season on loan at Lille, where he scored 8 goals in 33 games. The 20-year old, for his age, possess a beast-like figure - yet is so agile in his movement, constantly offering a threat and pinning himself on the last line of defenders, ready to make his way onto a through ball - (which will excite Phillipe Coutinho after a season-full of playing through balls to the immovable objects that are Mario Balotelli and Rickie Lambert). The rapid Belgian has been likened to Liverpool's very own Daniel Sturridge due to his laid back technique and excellent finishing skills. Let's, for the sake of optimism, ignore the fact that Origi was voted into Ligue 1's "Worst Team Of The Season" XI.
