Liverpool Transfers: 11 Essential Signings To Win The League Next Year

2. Yevhen Konoplyanka

Current Club: FC Dnipro If Liverpool had had their way, the Ukrainian winger would already be at Anfield after a protracted transfer deal in January ended somewhat unthinkably with the unhelpful intervention of Dnipro president Ihor Kolomoyskyi who stepped in and refused to sanction the move. Though Liverpool have an abundance of wide options, especially when playing wide men like Raheem Sterling and Sturridge as inside forwards, the Dnipro man would add versatility to the squad, and would presumably take the place of Victor Moses, who has done too little during his loan deal to justify a permanent move. He is fast, possesses extremely good vision and is the kind of creative attacking player that Brendan Rodgers has proved most fond of this season. Presumably, the £16m bid that activated Konoplyanka's release clause in January would be enough to get Kolomoyskyi back to the table.
