2. Tottenham
Andy Carroll could easily be making his way to London before the start of the season. Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas looks to have failed to secure Manchester City's Emmanuel Adebayor on a full time basis after a tremendous loan period at White Hart Lane last season. With the Manchester City striker failing to agree an additional bonus with City to move permanently to White Hart Lane the deal looks to be off. Andy Carroll can easily be argued as a suitable replacement for Adebayor now his loan deal has ended. With Spurs only having Jermain Defo and Giovani dos Santos as recognised strikers at the club, Tottenham could definitely benefit from a new attacking addition.
