Liverpool Transfers: 5 Last-Minute Signings Klopp MUST Make
1. Nabil Fekir (Lyon)
Yes, the transfer that was meant to be dead in the water for Liverpool should be their number one priority before the season begins.
Fans may argue that they no longer need to sign the Frenchman having secured the services of Shaqiri alongside Fabinho and Keita but considering how close they were to completing the transfer, the 25-year-old must have featured in Jurgen Klopp's plans for the forthcoming season.
Fekir's proposed £53m move to Anfield collapsed at the medical stage earlier this summer but former French international Robert Pires believes it could still happen and that the highly-rated midfielder would be an ideal addition for the Reds, saying:-
"Fekir would be a good fit for the Premier League and a great signing for Liverpool."
Currently at Lyon, Fekir has scored 57 goals in 152 appearances for Les Gones. Despite concerns over his knee, he would be an excellent signing for the Reds and Klopp in recent interviews left the door open for the move:-
"If something happens, you always have to make sure you react. If not now, then maybe next window or next summer."
Signing Fekir may arguably make Liverpool favourites for the title, bringing him to Anfield may well make it their year.
