Liverpool Transfers: 6 Goalkeepers To Replace Lorius Karius
4. Jack Butland (Stoke)
Jack Butland has been a rumoured transfer target of Liverpool for some time, with former players and fans alike calling for a bid for the England goalkeeper. Since the youngster missed out on Euro 2016, Butland has worked hard to earn a spot in Gareth Southgate's World Cup 2018 squad with solid, consistent performances for Stoke.
The 25 year old is an ideal candidate to be Klopp's next goalkeeper, balancing youth and experience, amassing 77 Premier League appearances and keeping 20 clean sheets.
There has been interest from bigger clubs for years, and with The Potters' relegation from the Premier League and Butland's public condemning of the way Stoke have conducted their business, it seems increasingly likely that he will be leaving in the near future.
Butland's services will not come cheap however. With Everton paying £30 million for Jordan Pickford last summer, Stoke will likely demand a similar price for their goalkeeper, if not more, but with seemingly unlimited potential, it would be a price worth paying.
