5. Tom Heaton (Burnley)

Tom Heaton has developed into a world class goalkeeper who, if not for an unfortunate injury, would be representing England at the 2018 World Cup. Instead, the Burnley man has been relegated to stand-by, and barring any more unfortunate injuries, will have to watch his understudy Nick Pope serve in Russia.

While it is a positive for Burnley that Pope has stepped up so well, the downside is that neither man will be satisfied with a place on the bench week in, week out. So one of the two Englishmen is likely to leave Turf Moor before the start of next season, meaning Liverpool will have a good chance of bringing the former Manchester United keeper over to Anfield.

Heaton has had a breakout couple of seasons, with a string of impressive performances, the most notable of which came against his former club at Old Trafford. Manchester United registered 37 shots during the encounter, with Heaton miraculously keeping The Red Devils off the score sheet, earning an incredible point for the Clarets.

Despite his value to them, selling their goalkeeper would make a lot of sense for Burnley, as they could use the money Heaton's sale would bring in to strengthen their squad ahead of next season's European adventure.
