Liverpool Transfers: 7 Players Steven Gerrard Should Consider For Rangers

3. Ben Woodburn

Ben Woodburn has earned himself quite a reputation as one of the most highly rated youngsters not just at Liverpool, but across Europe. During his short career so far Woodburn has accumulated seven full international caps for Wales, and 11 first team appearances for his club. In 2016, the Welshman scored in Liverpool's League Cup Quarter Final win over Leeds, taking Michael Owen's record as the youngest ever goal scorer for The Reds.

The wonderkid is clearly rated very highly by his current manager Jürgen Klopp, but also by Rangers manager Steven Gerrard. The 2017 European Golden Boy nominee was made under-19's captain by Gerrard last season, showing the faith the former Liverpool skipper has in the player.

Again, as with most of the entrants on this list, Liverpool are unlikely to sell Woodburn to Rangers, so a loan deal may be arranged. A year of potential first team football under the tutelage of Gerrard would benefit the youngster immensely, and give The Gers yet another option in the striking department.
