At just 18 years old, Rhian Brewster has an incredible amount of potential, and is very highly thought of by Klopp. Though the youngster has never played a competitive first team game for The Reds, he was involved in a first team friendly, scoring a hat trick against Accrington Stanley in 2016.
Brewster was part of England's 2017 under 17 World Cup winning side, earning himself the Golden Boot with eight goals. Though he may not ready for first team Premier League football just yet, a loan move to Rangers would help his development more than another year in the Liverpool academy.
Gerrard has previously spoken highly of Brewster whilst managing the youngster at Liverpool, praising his attitude, work ethic, and goal scoring ability. There is however, currently a doubt over the stiker's fitness after undergoing surgery on his ankle, but if he can recover in time for the new season, a reunion between player and manager would be a boost to both.
