Liverpool Transfers: 8 Players Klopp Must Sign
5. Andrew Robertson
Hull's Andrew Robertson has, alongside Bertrand, been mooted as a potential solution to Liverpool's problem left-back area, and he ticks many of the same boxes.
In fact, the Scotland international offers much more going forward than the Southampton player, something he proved with regularity last season despite playing in a team that were seldom outside the Premier League's relegation zone.
In his own half, Robertson is far from the finished article, but at 23 the former Dundee United man has plenty of time to iron out his defensive misgivings.
And an investment of £10 or £15m would represent sensible business for Jurgen Klopp, whose main priority in the final month-and-change of the transfer window has to be signing literally any left-sided defender.
