Liverpool vs Arsenal: 5 Key Decisions Wenger Must Make

Despite only being two matches into the 2012/2013 Premier League season, Arsenal is at a crucial juncture.

5. Leave Olivier Giroud On The Pitch

The Gunners fired blanks in its first 2 games, and Giroud has received an undue amount of criticism for his performances. He missed a sitter against Sunderland in the second half after Santi Carzola had fed him through with a sublime reverse pass, and elected to go for an outrageous 40 yard effort rather than lay on a through pass to the onrushing Aaron Ramsey, who probably would have had a better chance on goal. For all his failed attempts to open his account at Arsenal, Giroud is without a doubt a talented striker with a lot of potential to become the next big thing at the Emirates. Wenger must show his faith in the French striker by rewarding him with more time on the pitch, and Giroud will eventually reward the manager with the goals that we've all been waiting for. After all, a striker's confidence is inextricably linked to his performance (*ahem, Chamakh*), and what better place to score his first goal than Anfield? They stole Nuri Sahin from right under our noses... but more on that later.
