The midfield battle between the two sides is going to play a pivotal role on Saturday, and whoever is the more prominent out of Gerrard and Fabregas, in terms of dictating the game, could prove critical. There are some who are writing the 34-year-old off too, which will only fuel his desire to win further. Fabregas, meanwhile, is at the peak of his powers, and has been a superb signing by Mourinho. He has been making goals for fun and running the show in the middle of the park. The former Arsenal captain is a very dangerous player when he's on top of his game. Although the two might not necessarily come into direct contact with each other too much during the game, given that they may well both be playing relatively deep, if one can take the game by the scruff of the neck, it will prove a big advantage to their respective sides.
