Liverpool vs Chelsea: 5 Key Battles

3. Eden Hazard vs Glen Johnson or Javier Manquillo

It's fair to say that Liverpool's defence has been a shambles so far this season. They have conceded goals at an alarming rate, and they have simply never looked in control of their own destiny. It's a toss up out of Johnson and Manquillo as to who will start at right-back for the Reds this weekend, and the thought of Hazard up against one of them will be giving Reds fanatics sleepless nights over the next couple of days. The 23-year-old Belgian is in sensational form at the moment, and has to be one of the most dangerous wingers in world football. He is tormenting whoever he comes up against, weaving in and out of challenges, winning endless fouls and creating and scoring goals. There are times when he is unplayable. He is Chelsea's most dangerous player, and he will be relishing the thought of Saturday's game. Manquillo would be a better option than Johnson, given his defensive superiority, but at the end of the day, the on-loan Spaniard is just 20 years of age and lacking experience. Johnson against Hazard could just be embarrassing though, given the England international's ineptitude defensively. If Hazard hits top form, and Johnson or Manquillo fail to deal with him, it could get ugly.
