Match Preview
Liverpool will be hoping to avoid an upset in the second round of the Capital One Cup tonight as they prepare to welcome League One side Notts County to Anfield. Manager Brendan Rodgers is expected to name an experimental side with many of his fringe players likely to get a run out, and he will be hoping the Reds can continue their imperious record against tonight's opponents. Notts County have not won any of their last 12 matches against Liverpool, losing nine and drawing three, and while the Reds are currently second in the Premier League, County are toiling some two divisions below them. This is very much a case of David vs Goliath with County's win over Fleetwood in the first round being only their first victory in the competition since August 2010. Meanwhile, Liverpool have won this competition eight times - more than any other side. While we'd like to say there could be an upset, we just don't see it. Liverpool 2-0 Notts County
