Manchester United have acted pretty swiftly in the summer transfer window and have already brought in two new players in the form of Ander Herrera and Luke Shaw for a combined £60 million, with Shaw and Herrera moving from Southampton and Athletic Bilbao, respectively. But if fans were hoping to see any more new faces at Old Trafford, they'll have to wait another month according to Louis van Gaal. Van Gaal revealed that he wants to spend time looking at the players he already has at his disposal before adding to the squad - "and then maybe, in three or four weeks, I buy other players." That comment may come as a disappointment to some, especially those who were hoping United would quickly sign the players they so desperately need. The Dutchman's admission on transfer policy means the Red Devils may not make another signing until the middle of August, which would leave just two weeks for van Gaal to get any further business completed before the transfer window slams shut. United need another three players if they are to challenge for the Premier League title - with two new centre-backs and a central midfielder the most pressing adjustments. Having seen David Moyes and Ed Woodward dither over bringing in new faces last summer, signing only Marouane Fellaini on transfer deadline day, supporters will be anxious that van Gaal does not fall into a similar trap.
