Officials from both clubs are set to meet in London today to discuss a deal for the troubled 27-year-old Uruguay international. Suarez, who still has four years remaining on his contract at Anfield, is serving a four-month ban from all football related activities after biting Italy defender Georgio Chiellini during the World Cup. The Reds are likely to accept an £80 million bid by the Spanish giants, though Barca are believed to want a discount, given the forward's ban, and are hoping to pay £60 million. Any deal may hinge on whether the La Liga club are willing to include Chile winger Alexis Sanchez as part-exchange, though Liverpool are aware of Suarez's intent to move to Spain. It is not clear whether Sanchez would be willing to move to Merseyside as part of the deal, through early indications are that Barca are open to the proposal. Suarez issued an official apology for biting Chiellini on Monday, in a move seen by some as paving the way for a lucrative move to Barcelona.
