Man City 3-0 Swansea - Player Ratings

Man City

Costel Pantilimon The Romanian regained his place in goal in favour of Joe Hart but was rarely pressed into action here. Made two fine saves to deny Jonjo Shelvey but otherwise kept a clean pair of gloves. 7/10 Pablo Zabaleta The full-back looked a real handful for City, getting forward to contribute to the attack, and set up Nasri's second goal with a low cross into the penalty area. 8/10 Martín Demichelis In the absence of Vincent Kompany, it was up to Demichelis to marshal the back four and the veteran Argentinian did a good job, looking steady at the back, and even hitting the crossbar with a glancing header. 7/10 Joleon Lescott Neither Demichelis nor his defensive partner Joleon Lescott had much to do on Sunday, and neither are first choice at centre-half, but both put in assured performances against an admittedly-toothless Swansea. 7/10 Gael Clichy The left-back did well to contain Pablo Hernandez, one of only two players who really threatened for Swansea out wide, and can be pleased with his clean sheet. 7/10
