Man City 6-3 Arsenal: Premier League Player Ratings

Fernandinho: Our man of the match. Scored his first City goal in style when gifted the ball by Ozil. Doubled his tally late on by finishing a City move that cut through the heart of Arsenal. Could've had a hat-trick, but Szczesny kept another strike out. Created the scenario that led to City's penalty at the death. More performances like this needed. 8.5/10.

Yaya Toure: Gave away possession and that led to Walcott's equalizer at 1-1. Redeemed this with a lovely pass to find Zabaleta in the build-up to Negredo's goal. Dragged wide at 4-2, but rolled in a penalty with effectively the last kick of the game. Trademark midfield powerhouse here. 7.5/10.

David Silva: Playing nominally from the right didn't really suit him. Booked for foul on Ramsey. Moved centrally and popped up to slide in City's fourth goal. Subbed. 7/10.

Alvaro Negredo: Spurned several decent first half chances, but turned in at close range to make it 2-1. Occupied defenders throughout. 7/10.

Sergio Aguero: Fantastic back post volley for opening goal. Limped off early in the second half though. 7/10.

Subs: Jesus Navas: Assisted Silva's goal and fired into side-netting at 4-2 during 40 minutes. 6.5/10.

James Milner: Grafted and chased lost causes despite City being 4-2 up when he came on for the last 20 minutes. Won a penalty at the death when Szczesny brought him down. 6.5/10.

Javi Garcia: Came on just for stoppage time. Rating N/A.
