Man City 6-3 Arsenal: Premier League Player Ratings

Manchester City

Costel Pantilimon: Rooted to the spot for Walcott equalizer at 1-1 and shaky dealing with crosses. Palmed over Wilshere strike at 4-2 and tipped a Walcott free kick behind at 5-2. Saves may just be enough for rangy Romanian to keep his place. 5/10.

Pablo Zabaleta: Argentine right back tired as the match wore on, but assisted Negredo's goal at 2-1. 6/10.

Vincent Kompany: Went on some mazy forward runs. Booked for foul on Vermaelen. Failed to cut out Sagna centre for Mertesacker's consolation. City were not alert to the short corner. Not exactly an ideal game to the captain back in. 5/10.

Martin Demichelis: Unmarked flicked header assisted first goal. Walcott equalizer took a slight nick off the Argentine's head. Nodded another Nasri corner over at 2-1 in first half stoppage time. 5.5/10.

Gael Clichy: This might sound hard to believe in a game that included nine goals, but City left back had a pretty quiet showing. 5/10.

Samir Nasri: Corner delivery led to first goal. Assisted for Fernandinho's second too. He was clearly out to prove a point to his former club. Subbed to a standing ovation and deservedly so. 7.5/10.
