Man City 6-3 Arsenal: Premier League Player Ratings

Arsenal

Wojciech Szczesny: Hard to detract from the fact he was beaten six times. Clawed away an awkward Negredo cross in first half stoppage time. Had to come off his line several times in second half to deal with threat in behind. Unorthodox palm over from Fernandinho at 4-2. Left horribly exposed by his defence at times and conceded a penalty at the death when he felled Milner. Booked. 3.5/10.

Bacary Sagna: Put in a decent cross for Giroud chance at 3-1 down. Assisted Mertesacker's consolation deep in stoppage time. Again part of a defensive unit that conceded six. 4/10.

Per Mertesacker: Silva found space between centre backs to score City's fourth goal. Beaten by Fernandinho en route to scoring goal five. Headed in a consolation goal in stoppage time. 4.5/10.

Laurent Koscielny: Lost Aguero for first goal and injured his knee during the second City goal. Subbed as he was stretchered off, but later seen watching in the stands. 4/10.

Nacho Monreal: Not tight to Navas when he put in cross for Silva goal. Beaten by a nutmeg ball. Nasri and Navas ganged up on him at times and it worked as no protection from Wilshere. 3.5/10.

Aaron Ramsey: Robs Toure's pocket for Walcott equalizer, assisted the second Arsenal goal too. Not competitive enough in the midfield today though. 5/10.
