Man City Next Manager: 5 Replacements For Roberto Mancini

1. Manuel Pellegrini

Malaga boss Manuel Pellegrini is the odds on favourite to replace Roberto Mancini as City manager with many bookmakers including Sky Bet. The Chilean manager had to reject claims late on Sunday that an agreement had already been made for him to replace Mancini, while the latter criticised City's owners for not quashing the reports. Pellegrini ominously met with City officials back in April and his appointment at the Etihad is now considered a mere matter of 'when' and not 'if'. He enjoyed a historic first full season at Malaga when he guided the La Liga outfit to 4th in the division and helping them qualify for this season's Champions League for the first time in their history. He then guided Malaga to the last-eight of the competition and were on the brink of making the semi-finals but for a last-gasp Borussia Dortmund goal. He has reportedly said his farewells to his players - who have been banned from entering next season's Champions League due to financial problems - as he begins the next chapter in his managerial career. Who do you think will replace Roberto Mancini? Let us know in the comment section, below.
