Daniel Agger Perhaps the City radar needn't look to foreign lands and instead focus in on a player, whose club is only across the M62. That club is Liverpool and that player is Daniel Agger. A consistent performer for a team that have been noted for their inconsistencies, Agger has formed an excellent partnership with the Slovak Martin Skrtel at Anfield. Signed from Brondby in 2006, Agger has endeared himself to the Anfield faithful through such consistent performances and surety on the ball when others may panic in the same situation. Such affection is mutual; Agger has stated that while he is wanted, he will never leave the Reds. So, that leaves potential suitors Barcelona as well City with a job to do to prise him away and dangle a Champions League shaped carrot (along with a bit of money) that may convince him to end his long association with Liverpool.
