Man City Transfers: 5 Players Who Must Be Sold
3. Oleksandr Zinchenko
21-year-old Oleksandr Zinchenko was bought by City in 2016 after some promising performances with the Ukrainian national side. He was loaned out in the 2016-17 season but played a part in City's recent title triumph, appearing eight times in the league, as well as appearing in other competitions.
Zinchenko has received a lot of praise from Pep Guardiola for his attitude and playstyle, but the youngster has got to be thinking about a move away. Despite being used as a makeshift wing-back throughout last season after the untimely injury of Benjamin Mendy, the Ukrainian is actually an attacking midfielder by trade.
Undoubtedly, Zinchenko would prefer to be playing in his natural position and he has little chance of doing that at City, who boast a plethora of world class attacking midfield talent like Silva and Sané. With Mendy fit again, Zinchenko wouldn't even have much chance of playing as a wing-back either, and the 21-year-old is being linked with a possible £16 million move to newly-promoted Wolves. Newcastle are also said to be keeping tabs on the youngster and if he wants to play a starring role for any side, he'll need to look beyond the Etihad Stadium.
