Man United Transfers: 5 Left Backs To Replace Patrice Evra

There seems to be an air of inevitability surrounding suggestions that Patrice Evra's days as a Manchester United player are numbered. Evra is 32 and closing in on 250 Premier League appearances for the Red Devils. Whilst having golden oldies is something that Old Trafford is accustomed to, the tabloid press is insistent David Moyes will move to buy a new left back in either of the next two transfer windows. Come January, Evra will have given United eight years' worth of loyal service. He has five Premier League titles, three League Cups and a Champions League crown to his name. Yet that pedigree is widely expected to be shipped out to make room for the future. A return to Evra's old club AS Monaco, resurgent and backed with new billions after a humbling relegation, could be on the cards for the 50-times capped France international. Moyes tried to sign a replacement in the summer, but left it too late. There are both domestic, homegrown options for the Red Devils to mull over and talent from mainland Europe on their radar. To who then will Moyes and United turn? Here are five options you could see coming into Old Trafford sooner rather than later.
