Man Utd: 10 Incredible Stats You Won’t Believe From The Moyes Era

2. Reliant Robin

The Stats show that Manchester United are reliant on their top goalscorer, Robin van Persie, this season. Of United's seven Premier League wins, the Dutchman has played in six of them, with the Red Devils winning only once when he hasn't been in the side. And, of United's 5 league losses this term, the ex-Arsenal hero has been absent in three of them - against Manchester City, West Brom (substitute) and Everton, while half of the four games the champions have drawn this season have seen van Persie out of the side. Those aren't good omens now that the 30-year-old has been ruled out for a month after injuring his thigh while taking a corner. If United's record without van Persie in the side doesn't improve, they could find themselves in some very hot water in the New Year.
