Man Utd 2-0 Swansea - 5 Reasons Reds Can Improve Under David Moyes
Manchester United ended their three-match losing streak in all competitions to beat Swansea at Old Trafford on Saturday and put the brakes on their slump under David Moyes. Second half goals from Antonio Valencia and Danny Welbeck sank the Swans and prevented what would have been a fourth straight loss for the Reds for the first time in over 50 years. After the game, Moyes roared that these are signs of improvement from his battered champions, who were dumped out of the FA Cup 3rd round by Michael Laudrup's side earlier this month. In a round of fixtures that has thus far seen all of the top seven teams win their games, except for Arsenal, who play tonight, United simply had to win at the weekend to keep in touch. And though this victory is a step in the right direction, there remains much work to be done under Moyes if United are to finish in the top four this season. But this win was definitely encouraging and there was much to suggest the champions can go onwards and upwards from here on in. Here, we take a look at 5 reasons the Reds can improve under David Moyes.
