Man Utd: 5 Factors That Prove David Moyes Is Still The Man For The Job

Manchester United's loss to Everton on Wednesday evening drew inevitable criticism from all corners, with many suggesting that David Moyes is not the right man for the job at Old Trafford. The former Toffees boss has experienced a tough time in his first few months at the club, and the Red Devils now sit in ninth place 12 points behind league leaders Arsenal. The most successful club in English football have finished in the top four in every season since 1992, but this season they look to be in real danger of losing their perfect record. Already this season they have uncharacteristically dropped points against teams such as West Brom, Cardiff City and Southampton, and they have already lost to bitter rivals Manchester City and Liverpool away from home. The result is Moyes' position, according to all but the club it would seem, is in doubt, despite several aspects that point to the opposite. Before the defeat to Everton, the Red Devils had not lost a single game in any competition since September 28, with five draws and seven wins until Wednesday night. That form is not to be sneezed at, and it is things like that that some seem to have all too easily forgotten. So with that in mind, here are five reasons why Moyes is still the right man for the job at United, and why he is the man who can lead them to glory if not this season then in the future.
