Manchester United's Angel Di Maria is set to sign for Paris Saint-Germain this summer, according to the Independent. The French side are set to meet the £43 million asking price in order to bring the Argentine to Parc des Princes in time for next season. Di Maria, who struggled in his first season in England now has 'one foot in Paris' according to French newspaper, Le Parisien who state that now PSG's Financial Fair Play (FFP) restrictions have been lifted, they are in a position to make the offer. The former Benfica midfielder was injured during the Copa America final and will miss the start of the season. A deal is yet to be agreed between the player and the club and no formal offer is yet to be made. But the Paris daily remain confident that Di Maria will sign. The paper reports that president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has maintained contact with Di Maria throughout the last year. Di Maria made 27 appearances in the Premier League last season and despite starting well he only managed three goals and ten assists for Louis van Gaal's side.
