Man Utd News: Jose Mourinho Wants To Return To England To Face Fergie
Mail Online, Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho has revealed that he would happily return to the Premier League if it meant facing Sir Alex Ferguson. The 49-year-old former Chelsea manager has previously hinted at a return to manage in the English Premier League and has now said that he would rather face Manchester United boss, Sir Alex Ferguson, than succeed him. Mourinho has told CNN of his intention to leave Madrid and return to the Premier League:
I just say openly that for many reasons after this project, the next step will be England for many reasons, but when? I don't know. It's difficult to say whether Jose Mourinho would return in the next five-years especially having been so successful in LA Ligaa since he took over back in 2010. Despite receiving a tough challenge from Barcelona, Jose has managed to guide the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema to one La Liga title, one Copa del Rey and the 2012 Supercopa de Espana. The man who dubbed himself The Special One has won the Primeira Liga twice with FC Porto, the English Premier League title twice with Chelsea, the Serie A twice with Inter Millan and then once with La Liga with Real Madrid. Mourinho told CNN:
"The perfect scenario when I go there is to coach, because I think football will lose a lot when he stops and there are not young managers and old managers. For me, he's the boss. I call him the boss because he's the boss of the coaches and I hope that when I go back to English football he still manages Man United.Manchester City fans shouldn't get their hopes up after Mourinho added he wasn't going to discuss becoming the City manager at this moment:
I don't think about that, especially because I have a four-year contract with Real. I signed it and when I signed it I signed it because I wanted to be in Real Madrid in this period of my career and I don't think in another club.
