2. David Moyes
David Moyes' contract as manager of Everton runs out in the summer, and no agreement has been reached over a new deal thus far, leading to
many reports that he is now one of the joint-favourites to replace Sir Alex Ferguson when he steps down at the end of the season. The 50-year-old has previously said that he wanted to wait until the end of this campaign before deciding whether to extend his time at Goodison Park into a 12th year, but the fact there is now a vacancy open at Old Trafford could sway his decision to quit the Toffees. His detractors point out that he has no Champions League experience and very little experience in pushing for the Premier League title, while those who champion his management style point to the fact he has operated on a frugal budget to moderate success over the last 10 years. It's likely that Ferguson will have a big say on who replaces him and fellow Scotsman Moyes will definitely be one of those discussed.
