5. First Ever Asian Captain of United

During his time at United, Park Ji-Sung became something of a trailblazer, setting numerous records throughout his seven-season stay at the Theatre of Dreams. One of which involved becoming the club's first ever Asian captain when, in a 2005 Champions League game, he replaced Ryan Giggs in a home group match against Lille, taking the armband as he came on. It marked the first ever time that a player from outside of Europe has captained the Red Devils, with Park joining a famous list of players to have done so, including Bobby Charlton, Steve Bruce, Bryan Robson, Eric Cantona and Roy Keane.
