Man Utd Striker Linked With Spurs And Chelsea
The out-of-favour Frenchman could be on the move.
Out-of-favour 22-year old French forward Anthony Martial could be on his way out of Old Trafford this summer, according to The Daily Star.
The newspaper reported this afternoon that bookmakers Coral have Tottenham Hotspur down as Martial's most likely destination, but there's also a chance the player will end up at Chelsea too. This news comes hot on the heels of reports that both clubs are also interested in West Brom's Venezuelan striker Salomón Rondón.
Martial has struggled to become a first-team regular under José Mourinho, subsequently lost out on a place in the French World Cup squad because of his sporadic appearances, and looks to be headed for the Old Trafford exit door during the current transfer window.
The latest odds on a move have Spurs at 5-2 and Chelsea at 9-2. Despite London being rumoured as the Frenchman's preferred destination, Serie A champions Juventus are also in the hunt at a nifty 4-1. That, according to Coral, makes them the second most-likely club to snatch Martial from Utd.
