Manchester United manager David Moyes has admitted he will seriously consider sending Wilfried Zaha out on loan in January, according to Sky Sports. Zaha only joined United permanently in the summer but is still yet to make his first league appearance under Moyes following his transfer from Crystal Palace. And, having been officially signed back in January, but allowed to see out the remainder of the 2012-13 season on loan with the Eagles, another stint away appears to be on the cards. Numerous clubs are thought to be willing to offer the young winger the first team opportunities he craves and are prepared to take him on a short-term basis. United were at first reluctant to loan the 20-year-old back out again, but may now be more inclined to listen to interested parties. That is because, as Moyes himself says, the English champions have too much competition out on the flanks. The Scot is reported to have told The Sun:
"I've said if I couldn't get him a game I would look at it in January. "I really thought when he came in he needed to be here for six months to see how we work. "There is competition in the wide areas with Nani, Antonio Valencia, Ashley Young, Adnan Januzaj and even Shinji Kagawa - that makes it one of the areas where we are strong.
The former Everton boss was keen to stress that any potential loan agreement for Zaha is not a reflection of his performances in training. He continued:
"It's not because Wilf has not done enough, it's because we have got big, big competition and there are a lot of players to give some playing time to. "Unfortunately we've not been able to do that with Wilf. If I can't do a lot for him by January then I will look at it. "We've not had the right opportunity to introduce him as much as we'd like but he's very much in my plans."
Zaha scored nine Championship goals for Palace before joining United, and has already earned his first call-up to the England team, despite being eligible to represent the Ivory Coast.
