Man Utd Transfer News: Wilfried Zaha To Old Trafford?

Wilfried Zaha to move to Man Utd for £12 million?

The Sun. The winger had been linked with a move to Premier League rivals Arsenal and Tottenham, but Sir Alex Ferguson looks to have stolen a march on the London duo to sign the promising 20-year old. United have reportedly held talks with Championship side Palace over the potential deal, which could be worth an initial £8 million, plus add-ons, as well as the loaning of United fringe players to boost manager Ian Holloway's promotion bid. Holloway previously stated that he wants the player to remain focused. He said:

"When a young player gets a chance to move and the club say no, we need to manage that disappointment and refocus that person."
However, according to The Sun, he believes United's offer to be the best one currently on the table, meaning Arsenal and Tottenham could be set to miss out. The deal could even be finalised within the coming days. Ivory Coast born Zaha has already made his international debut for England, coming on as a substitute in their 4-2 friendly defeat to Sweden last November. He has scored 5 times for Crystal Palace so far this season.
