Man Utd Transfers: 10 Deals That Should Happen In January
3. Wilfried Zaha OUT
One touted as one of the most promising raw talents in England, Wilfried Zaha has failed to make the impact expected of him since signing for Manchester United in 2013. The 20-year-old has donned the famous red shirt just twice since making his £15million move and instead plied his trade on-loan at twice at former club Crystal Palace and Cardiff City in the second half of the 2013 season. Unless new boss Louis van Gaal elects to alter his philosophy, the out-of-favour Zaha faces a near-impossible task trying to break into the Dutchman's wingless 4-3-1-2 formation when he is due to return from Crystal Palace at the end of the season. Van Gaal seems intent on deploying or signing proven talent to fast track United back on the path to dominance; an approach that could mark the end of the road for the Englishman. The former Ajax boss might consider dipping Zaha into the first-team once he's comfortable with his squad, but playing the waiting game can only hinder the winger's development. Looking back on what seemed a dream move to Old Trafford less than two years ago, it's crazy to suggest Zaha may benefit from forcing a move elsewhere. Crystal Palace looks the most likely destination with the club having agreed an £8million fee to make his loan a permanent switch should they stave off relegation. Probability: 8/10
